“We had an amazing time on our honeymoon to Greece. After the absolute STRESS of planning a wedding, we were really looking forward to getting away… and we were not disappointed. When we were first trying to figure out where we wanted to go on our honeymoon, we knew we wanted to go to a new place that we had never been before. So we were so happy we were able to experience four different locations in Greece in our two weeks away. We started in Athens, then moved to Paros, then Mykonos, and ended the trip in Santorini (we did have to fly back from Santorini to Athens to get back to the US but it was all in one day).

Athens: The history in Athens was so interesting and we had such a great tour guide who walked us around Athens – she was so intelligent and also such a friendly person. Check out Hill Athens – it was recommended by our hotel. We sat out on a balcony with an amazing few of the Acropolis that you could not beat as the sun was setting. Paros: Paros may have been my favorite as it was almost a hidden gem – the food was just so delicious and you couldn’t beat the views. Check out Axinos…this was one of our favorite restaurants that we still talk about today! Mykonos: Mykonos’ had such great vibes from all the people and great music. It was what you expect when you go to Mykonos! Santorini: Santorini’s views were simply amazing – truly such a romantic place and I’m so happy we ended the honeymoon this way. Check out Sunset in Amoudi Bay – again amazing food AND gorgeous view of the sun setting on the water. It was so beautiful.

Overall I still dream about the fish and the wine from every place we went to! The best spots were the places we just found while walking around the towns. Truly an amazing experience as our first vacation as newlyweds and I cannot thank Great Escapes enough for all of the tremendous help and planning to make our honeymoon absolutely perfect. We had an amazing time – we went to Blue Lagoon Island and swam with dolphins, we experienced the butler service which Sandal’s offers and it was top-notch. “We arrived in Pocatello, Idaho for my graduation ceremony at Idaho State University where I earned my master’s degree online. While here we were met with the greatest level of hospitality that I’ve ever experienced while away from home. Everyone was friendly and wanting to talk and share history about Pocatello, or Idaho in general. Each person we met taught us so much! We also experienced every season while here. In one weekend it was 70 degrees, then it dropped to the mid 50s, then it hailed, then it snowed, and then the snow melted and the temperature rose again to a comfortable temperature. We loved Pocatello! Would definitely come here again!”
